How to Wear a Beanie 2021
Nothing makes me feel cozier than a cute beanie. Whether you are in a winter climate or just keeping warm, a beanie is the perfect accessory. Wearing a beanie can be tricky and how you style the accessory depends on the shape of the actual beanie (or beanies) you have in your wardrobe - think cuffed, long, short, uncuffed, etc..
There are so many beanie styles available to shop at a variety of retailers right now such as bright colors, fun patterns, embroidered designs, thick knits and more making the beanie the perfect, fun accessory you should consider adding to virtually any outfit.

Top 5 Beanie Styles
1. Single Cuff
My go-to way to wear a beanie (especially during a bad hair day). Adjust the cuff to fit your head as snug as you like. Pull the beanie down to cover about half your ears.
*Good for curly hair, straight hair, long hair and short hair
*Easy to wear with glasses
2. The High-Top: sticking straight up
To achieve this look you must have the right beanie -- it needs to be stiff, thick and more structured. With help from the correct material, you will easily achieve the look you are going for. Although this look is not the fan favorite, I have come to love the style over the past few years because it is a simple and no fuss stylish way to wear your beanie. Throw it on and you are good to go! No tucks or folds needed.
*Good for curly hair, straight hair, long hair and short hair
*Easy to wear with glasses
3. The Slouch
Can’t picture this style? Think David Beckham / hipster / skater vibes. This style is perfect for your beanies that are a bit longer and have a little extra fabric in the back. Play around with slouching (or folding) the fabric in the back so it lays to your liking. Be sure to cover your ears and tuft out a little hair in the front. Super cute style with bangs!
*Good for curly hair, straight hair, long hair and short hair
4. The Pom-Pom
Instantly stylish! Beanies with pom-poms are very versatile and are easy to style. Find your favorite and put it on your head (hehe). Simple as that! Pull the beanie down far enough to cover your ears to ensure there is not too much extra weight at the top slouching the beanie.
*Good for curly hair, straight hair, long hair and short hair
*Easy to wear with glasses
5. The Standard
The standard style is your “perfect size for your head” beanie. Just pull the beanie on and go. You’ll see the beanie sitting above your eyebrows and covering your ears. Perfect way to wear your beanie if all other methods have failed you thus far ;). Plus this style is comfortable to wear with glasses.
